[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 농업기술센터가 회색빛 도심을 초록빛 생명력으로 채우는 ‘2026 소소텃밭 조성 지원사업’의 본격적인 닻을 올렸다. ‘작은 공간에서 누리는 소소한 웃음’이라는 의미를 담은 이번 사업은 포스트 코로나 시대 이후 급증한 도시농업 수요를 반영해 지원 규모를 대폭 늘렸다.
창원시는 도시텃밭에 대한 시민들의 열렬한 호응에 힘입어 지난해 5개소였던 지원 대상을 올해 10개소로 2배 확대했다. 또 선정된 기관에 ‘원예 프로그램’을 지원해, 텃밭이 이웃 간 소통의 장이자 심리적 치유의 공간이 되도록 설계했다.
