【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 20일 국립소방병원과 의료·요양 통합돌봄 사업 협력을 위한 ‘진천군 지역사회 통합돌봄 추진’ 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 보건복지부가 주관하는 의료·요양 통합돌봄 사업의 하나로 노인과 장애인을 대상으로 방문 보건의료 서비스와 통합돌봄 서비스를 연계, 지역사회 내 지속적인 거주를 지원하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 방문 보건·의료 서비스 제공을 통해 보건과 복지 분야 간 분절적인 서비스를 해소하고, 통합돌봄 대상자의 재가 생활 유지를 위해 적극 협력할 예정이다.
특히 국립소방병원은 지역 주민과 퇴원 예정 환자의 사회·경제적 여건, 신체, 기능 상태 등을 종합적으로 파악해 돌봄이 필요한 대상자를 진천군에 연계할 방침이다.
군은 병원으로부터 의뢰받은 대상자에 대해 상담, 조사 결과를 바탕으로 개인별 맞춤형 방문 의료 서비스와 일상생활 돌봄 서비스를 통합 지원할 계획이다.
이재철 군 통합돌봄팀장은 “의료·요양 통합돌봄 사업을 통해 지역 주민들이 자신이 살던 곳에서 맞춤형 돌봄 서비스를 받을 수 있는 기반을 더 강화할 계획”이라며 “국립소방병원과의 협약을 계기로 더욱 촘촘한 지역사회 돌봄 체계를 구축해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
