19년 연속 인구 증가라는 양적 성과를 넘어 ‘군민이 아이 낳아 키우기 좋은 환경’을 조성하기 위한 질적 성장 시대를 열어가겠다는 이유에서다.
새롭게 추진되는 진천형 출생지원금은 자녀 출산으로 인한 경제적 부담을 실질적으로 경감하고, 군민 모두가 출산과 양육의 기쁨을 온전히 누리기 위한 목적으로 설계됐다.
출생지원금은 2026년 1월 1일 이후 출생아를 대상으로 지원한다.
또한 부 또는 모가 출생일 3개월 전부터 진천군에 주민등록을 두고, 진천군에 출생 신고한 세대가 대상이다.
지원 규모는 △첫째아, 둘째아, 셋째아는 각 100만원을 일시금으로 지급하며 △넷째아는 500만원 △다섯째아 이상은 1천만원을 6개월씩 2회에 나눠 지급한다.
지급 방식은 모바일 지역상품권 착(chak) 앱을 통한 진천사랑상품권으로 지원한다.
신청은 주민등록 읍·면 행정복지센터에서 신청인 신분증과 본인 명의 핸드폰, 통장(타인 명의일 경우 가족관계증명서), 진천군 거주 여부 등을 확인하기 위한 주민등록등본이나 가족관계증명서 등 구비서류를 지참해 비치된 신청서와 함께 제출하면 된다.
