시는 지난 21일, 한국교육방송(EBS) 자기주도학습센터와 경기도교육청의 경기온라인학교 실시간 화상수업을 연계한 ‘온·오프라인 결합 교육 모델’이 현장에 안정적으로 안착했다고 밝혔다. 이번 모델은 고품질 온라인 수업과 지역 공공 학습 공간의 밀착형 관리를 결합해, 지역 및 가정 여건에 따른 교육 격차를 해소하고 학생들의 학습 결손을 예방하기 위해 추진되었다.

지난 20일, 이동권역 자기주도학습센터(이동작은도서관)에서는 실제 학생들이 실시간 화상수업에 참여하는 현장이 공개됐다. 이날 현장에는 EBS 및 경기도교육청 관계자들이 참석해 지역 학습 공간을 활용한 온라인 수업의 실효성을 직접 확인하고 운영 모습을 영상으로 기록했다.
현장에서 학생들은 센터 내 마련된 전용 학습 공간에서 실시간 화상 강좌를 수강했으며, 수업 종료 후에도 센터의 쾌적한 환경을 활용해 자기주도적인 후속 학습을 이어갔다. 시는 이를 통해 온라인 수업의 ‘전문성’과 오프라인 공간의 ‘몰입도’가 결합된 형태가 교육 현장에서 실질적인 효과를 거두고 있음을 입증했다.
