21일 가평군에 따르면 설악면 소재 밤벌캠핑장 김주강 대표와 그의 사위 조중혁 씨가 군청을 방문해 고향사랑기부금 개인 최고 한도액인 500만 원을 기탁했다.
이번 기부는 가평을 삶의 터전으로 삼고 있는 가족이 지역 사회에 대한 애정을 실천하기 위해 함께 뜻을 모았다는 점에서 더욱 의미가 깊다. 가평군은 지난해 고향사랑기부금 모금 목표액을 150% 초과 달성한 데 이어, 올해도 고액 기부로 기분 좋은 출발을 알리게 됐다.
김주강 대표는 기탁식에서 “설악면에서 캠핑장을 운영하며 가평은 이미 삶의 소중한 터전이자 정이 깊은 제2의 고향이 됐다”며 “가족과 함께 지역 발전에 보탬이 될 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되어 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다”고 소감을 전했다.
