이재명 대통령이 22일 "청와대 참모진들에게 개혁과제들을 속도감 있게 추진해 달라면서도 "국민 삶 개선커녕 명분·대의에 매달려 고통·혼란만 가중시킨다면 개혁이라 할 수 없다"고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대 본관에서 열린 수석보좌관회의에서 "개혁 과제들을 속도감 있게 추진해 달라"며 이같이 주문했다.

또 "일할 수 있는 시간도 제한적이고 시간 지나면 지날수록 추진 동력도 떨어진다"며 "하루라도 빨리 개혁 가능 조치는 해 놓아야 국민들이 체감하는 변화가 있을 수 있다"고 했다.
이어 "주권자를 대리해 국정을 운영하는 건 첫째도 둘째도 국민 삶·민생의 실질적 개선을 위한 것"이라며 "소위 개혁 과제도 마찬가지"라고 했다.
더불어 이날 시행된 'AI(인공지능) 발전·신뢰 기반 조성 등에 관한 기본법'(AI 기본법) 관련해선 "제도적 지원을 통해 산업 잠재역량을 키우고, 예상되는 부작용을 선제 관리하는 노력이 있어야 한다"며 "그 과정서 특히 필요한 건 합리적이고 투명한 정책 집행을 통해 현장의 불필요한 혼란을 최소화하는 것"이라고 했다.
이 대통령은 "새 기술에 대한 제도가 의도와 달리 현장 혁신 의지를 위축시키는 요인으로 작용하는 경우도 있다"며 "업계 우려 사항을 경청해 상대적으로 여력이 부족한 벤처·스타트업이 잘 적응할 수 있도록 지원해달라"고 했다.
