세종교육청안전체험교육원은 22일 올해 안전체험교육 운영과 관련 체계적 준비를 하고 있다고 밝혔다.
시 교육청에 따르면 앞서 안전체험교육원은 새 학기를 체험시설 전반에 대한 점검과 보강을 진행해왔다.
이를 위해 각 체험관별 시설 상태를 면밀히 확인하고 ,취약 요소를 개선하는 등 선제적 안전 조치를 시행하며, 신규 체험 요소 도입을 위한 시설 보강도 병행해 학생들이 안전한 환경에서 체험활동에 참여할 수 있도록 했다.
안전체험교육 지도 역량을 강화하기 위해 유·초중고 등 학령별 특성을 반영한 운영 방안 및 프로그램 구안 협의회를 운영하고 있다.
발달 단계에 적합한 체험 내용과 지도 방법을 공동 논의해 세부 지도안을 마련하고, 전문적 학습 공동체 운영을 통해 교수학습 역량을 높여 안전체험교육의 실효성을 강화하기로 했다.
또 안전체험교육원은 3월부터 시민과 가족을 대상으로 운영하는 토요안전체험 프로그램도 함께 준비 중이다.
가족 단위 참여자를 고려한 체험 내용을 다양화하고, 운영 절차 및 지도안을 사전 점검하는 등 보다 내실 있는 프로그램을 제공한다는 계획이다.
고혜정 안전체험교육원장은 “겨울방학 기간을 활용한 철저한 준비로 2026학년도 안전체험교육의 질을 높이고, 학생과 시민이 함께 안전 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
