[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 지방소멸 위기에 대응하고 청년층 및 전입 희망자의 안정적인 주거 여건을 마련하기 위해 2026년 '빈집 활용 청년 임대주택사업'과 '그린홈 어게인사업'을 추진한다고 23일 밝혔다.
빈집 활용 청년 임대주택사업은 1년 이상 거주 또는 사용하지 않은 농촌 빈집을 정비해 청년, 신혼부부, 다자녀가구, 귀농·귀촌인 등에게 주변 시세보다 저렴한 임대주택으로 공급하는 사업이다.
빈집 소유자가 사업에 참여할 경우 빈집 수리 비용의 80%, 최대 3천만원까지 지원한다.
수리 완료 후에는 지원금 규모에 따라 의무임대기간 2년에서 최대 4년까지, 월 3만~5만원 수준의 임대료로 입주자에게 임대하게 된다.
사업 대상 빈집은 '전국 빈집실태조사 통합가이드라인'에 따른 1~2등급 빈집 중 건축물대장이 존재하고 소유권 관계가 명확한 주택을 우선 선정하며 입주 대상자는 산청군 전입 2년 이내의 신규 전입자 또는 전입 예정자 등 청년·신혼부부·다자녀가구·귀농·귀촌인을 중심으로 선발할 계획이다.
이와 함께 추진되는 그린홈 어게인사업은 노후 농촌 빈집을 에너지 효율이 높은 주택으로 개보수해 인구소멸지역 외 지역에서 산청군으로 이주를 희망하는 사람 또는 관내 청년·신혼부부·다자녀가구에게 공공임대주택으로 제공하는 사업이다.
