고양시흰돌종합사회복지관은 지난 21일 사회복지공동모금회가 주관하는 2025년 기획 사업인 1인 가구의 지역사회 통합을 위한 맞춤형 지원 및 대응체계 구축 사업에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업 선정에 따라 복지관은 고립된 1인 가구의 삶 속으로 먼저 다가가는 돌봄을 실천하기 위한 고양 라이프링크 LifeLink 사업을 본격 추진하며, 제도권 밖에 머물러 있던 위기가구를 조기에 발견하고 지역사회와 연결하는 예방 중심의 사례관리에 힘쓸 계획이다.
최근 1인 가구의 지속적인 증가와 함께 사회적 고립, 정서적 어려움, 경제적 문제와 건강 문제를 동시에 겪는 위기가구가 늘어나고 있으나, 상당수는 도움을 요청하지 못한 채 고립된 삶을 이어가고 있는 상황이다.
