고양특례시가 오는 28일부터 2월 28일까지 한 달간 군 소음대책지역 주민을 대상으로 '2026년도 군소음 피해보상금 신청'을 받는다고 23일 밝혔다.
군 피해보상금은 국방부에서 고시한 소음대책지역에 주민등록을 두고 실제 거주하는 주민들의 소음피해를 보상하기 위해 마련된 제도다.
보상금 지급 대상자 여부는 국방부 군소음포털에서 확인할 수 있다.

올해 신청대상은 2025년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 고양시 소음대책지역인 화전동 및 대덕동 일부 지역에 주민등록을 두고 실제 거주한 사실이 있는 주민이다.
외국인도 신청 가능하다.
특히 2025년도 이전 미신청자도 소급해서 신청할 수 있다.
보상대상기간은 2020년 11월 27일부터 2024년 12월 31일까지다.
단, 중복신청은 불가능하다.
신청은 고양시 누리집 고시·공고 게시판에서 신청서와 구비서류 등을 확인한 후 시청을 직접 방문하거나 우편으로 제출하면 된다.
정부24를 통한 온라인 신청도 가능하다.
제출된 신청서는 오는 5월 심사를 거쳐 실제 거주기간, 전입시기, 근무지(사업장) 거리 등에 따라 감액 조정된 후 8월 중 최종 지급될 예정이다.
