청평수력발전소는 지난 21일 연말연시 취약계층 지원 사업의 일환으로 3,000만원 상당의 백미 906포대(10㎏)를 청평면 행정복지센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
이번 기탁은 명절을 앞두고 자칫 소외되기 쉬운 저소득 가구와 복지 사각지대 위기 이웃들이 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다. 청평수력발전소는 매년 백미와 난방유 지원 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 통해 지역사회와의 상생에 앞장서고 있다.
이범석 청평수력발전소 소장은 “이웃들에게 작은 힘이나마 보태고자 나눔을 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 나눔 활동을 통해 공기업으로서 사회적 책임을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
