26일 가평군에 따르면 이번 사업은 보건소 방문이 어려운 어르신들의 접근성을 높이기 위해 기획됐다. 치매사례관리사가 오는 3월까지 경로당, 마을회관, 보건진료소 등 어르신들에게 익숙한 생활 공간을 직접 찾아가 검진과 예방 교육을 병행하는 방식이다.
검진 대상은 가평군에 거주하는 60세 이상 군민으로, 참여를 희망하는 어르신은 신분증을 지참하고 현장을 방문하면 된다. 군은 검진 결과 치매 진단을 받은 대상자에게는 상담은 물론 치매치료관리비 지원 등 실질적인 경제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 사업으로 연계해 사후 관리까지 책임질 방침이다.
