<브레이크뉴스 강원=김일웅 기자> 서울 노원구 수락산 인근에서 발생한 산불이 산림당국의 압도적인 진화 자원 투입 끝에 약 7시간 만에 주불 진화가 완료됐다.
26일 북부지방산림청(청장 송준호)에 따르면, 이날 오전 2시 27분경 서울특별시 노원구 상계동 산153-1 일원에서 원인을 알 수 없는 산불이 발생했다.

산림당국과 소방, 군 등 유관기관은 신속한 초기 대응을 위해 진화 헬기 8대와 차량 71대, 그리고 진화 인력 510명을 현장에 긴급 투입했다. 영하의 추위와 야간이라는 악조건 속에서도 입체적인 진화 작전을 펼친 결과, 발생 6시간 43분 만인 오전 9시 10분경 주불 진화를 마쳤다.

산림당국은 주불 진화 완료 후 현재 잔불 정리 및 뒷불 감시 체제에 돌입했다. 진화가 마무리되는 대로 산불조사감식반을 투입해 정확한 발화 원인과 피해 면적, 재산 피해 규모 등을 정밀 조사할 계획이다.

송준호 북부지방산림청장은 “사소한 부주의로 시작된 불이라도 가해자는 엄중한 처벌을 받을 수 있다”며, “산림 인근 주민과 등산객들은 입산 시 화기 소지를 금지하는 등 산불 예방에 적극적인 주의를 당부드린다”고 강조했다.
