파주시가 병오년 새해를 맞아 시민과의 소통을 강화한다.
1월 26일부터 2월 6일까지 관내 20개 읍면동을 직접 찾아가는 '2026년 시정운영계획 설명회 및 이동시장실'을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 설명회는 장단면을 시작으로 20개 읍면동을 순회하며 진행된다.
김경일 파주시장은 2026년 시정운영 방향과 주요 정책을 시민들에게 직접 설명하고, 이동시장실을 통해 주민들의 다양한 의견을 청취할 계획이다.

파주시는 2026년 시정 기조를 '민생온(On, 溫), 기본업(Up)'으로 정하고, 민생은 더욱 따뜻하게 챙기고 시민의 기본 권리는 한층 더 높여 나간다는 방침이다.

2022년 9월 첫 운영을 시작한 이후 2025년까지 총 187회 개최됐으며, 이번 순회를 통해 민선8기 공약사항인 '이동시장실 200회 개최' 목표를 달성하게 된다.
그동안 이동시장실에는 5,700여 명의 시민이 참여해 2,200여 건의 의견을 제시했다.
이 가운데 다수의 제안이 실제 시정에 반영되는 성과를 거두며, 주민과 함께 만들어가는 시정의 모범 사례로 평가받고 있다.
