고양시 사회복지 현장의 최전선에서 일하는 종사자들이 한자리에 모여 더 나은 복지체계 구축을 위한 연대와 협력을 다짐했다.
고양시사회복지협의회는 23일 '고양시 사회복지인 신년인사회'를 개최하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 복지서비스 제공을 위해 힘을 모으기로 했다.

이날 행사에는 이동환 고양특례시장, 김응화 협의회장을 비롯해 사회복지시설 단체장 및 종사자, 유관기관 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 복지수요의 다양화와 현장 여건 변화 속에서 더욱 촘촘한 복지 안전망 구축이 필요하다는 데 인식을 같이했다.
특히 사회복지 현장의 목소리를 공유하고, 지역사회 복지증진을 위한 상호 협력 방안을 모색하는 시간을 가졌다.

김응화 고양시사회복지협의회장은 "사회복지 종사자들이 서로 격려하고 연대하는 뜻깊은 자리였다"며 "현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 지속가능한 복지체계 구축과 따뜻한 공동체 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 강조했다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 축사에서 사회복지 종사자들의 헌신을 높이 평가했다.
이 시장은 "보이지 않는 곳에서도 사회의 어두운 곳을 먼저 밝혀 주신 분들의 헌신과 열정에 존경과 감사의 말씀을 드린다"며 "2026년에도 더 촘촘하고 따뜻한 복지전달체계를 구축해 '복지사각지대 ZERO'인 고양시가 될 수 있기를 기대한다"고 말했다.
고양시사회복지협의회는 이번 신년인사회를 계기로 사회복지 현장과의 소통을 더욱 강화하고, 복지 사각지대 해소를 위한 다양한 협력 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
