[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군청 백두산악회는 지난 24일 함양군 남덕유산에서 신년 산행을 하며 산악완등 인증사업 ‘오르GO 함양’ 완등 도전에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

이번 산행은 겨울철 눈꽃 산행지로 잘 알려진 남덕유산을 오르며 새해 건강과 안전을 기원하고, 전국 산악인들로부터 큰 관심을 받는 ‘오르GO 함양’ 사업에 회원들이 함께 참여하기 위해 마련됐다.

백두산악회 회원들은 “국립공원 제10호 남덕유산을 비롯해 국립공원 제1호 지리산, 대한민국 100대 명산인 황석산 등 함양군에는 아름다운 자연경관을 갖춘 명산이 많다”며 “건강과 힐링을 동시에 누릴 수 있는 ‘오르GO 함양’에 많은 산악인의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.

한편 ‘오르GO 함양’은 지리산에서 덕유산까지 함양군 내 해발 1,000m 이상 15개 명산을 완등하면 기념품을 수여하는 산악완등 인증사업이다. 

완등자에게는 기념 메달과 지역 상품권이 제공되며, ‘머물GO’ 숙박비 지원과 ‘오르GO 택시’ 운영 등으로 참여자 편의 제공과 더불어 지역 소비 유도를 통한 지역경제 활성화에 이바지하는 산악관광 콘텐츠로 호평받고 있다.
