이번 지급액은 협력사들의 자금 운용 부담을 완화하기 위해 최대 7일 앞당겨 지급하는 조기 지급분과, 기존 거래 조건에 따른 정기 지급분을 합산한 규모다.
신세계그룹은 대다수 협력사들이 원활하게 자금을 융통할 수 있도록 지원하고 있으며, 명절 전후 자금 수요가 집중되는 시기에 협력사들의 부담을 줄이는데 노력하고 있다.
한편, 신세계그룹은 평상시에도 매월 3~4회에 걸쳐 대금을 지급함으로써 협력회사들의 자금 활용이 안정적으로 이뤄지도록 하고 있다.
