부산광역시교육청은 27일 오후 교육청에서 월드비전 부산사업본부(본부장 이현)로부터 1억5천만 원 상당의 교육기부금을 전달받았다.
이번 기부금은 위기 아동과 저소득층 학생 지원을 위해 사용될 예정이다. 교육청은 올해 월드비전 부산사업본부와 협력해 갑작스러운 주거, 생계, 의료 위기에 처한 가정의 아동을 대상으로 7천만 원을 우선 지원한다.
또한 정신과 검사나 치료, 상담이 필요한 저소득층 가정 학생들을 대상으로 검사비와 진료·치료비 등 8천만 원을 지원하는 학생맞춤통합지원사업도 추진할 계획이다.
김석준 교육감은 “월드비전의 다양한 기부 사업이 부산지역 위기학생들에게 큰 힘이 되고 있다”며 “학생들이 안정된 환경에서 마음의 건강을 지키고 꿈을 실현할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) received educational donations worth 150 million won from the Busan Regional Office of World Vision (Director Lee Hyun) at a ceremony held at the education office on the 27th.
The funds will be used to support children from families in crisis and students from low-income households. This year, the office plans to provide 70 million won in emergency support to children facing sudden housing, livelihood, or medical difficulties through its partnership with World Vision Busan.
In addition, 80 million won will be allocated to the Student Customized Integrated Support Program, which covers medical examination, treatment, and counseling expenses for students from low-income families who require psychiatric care.
Superintendent Kim Seok-jun said, “World Vision’s various donation programs have been a great help to students in crisis across Busan. The Office of Education will continue to do its best to help students maintain emotional stability, protect their mental well-being, and pursue their dreams.”
