파주시가 60세 이상 구직 시민의 안정적인 취업을 지원하기 위해 '경비 신임 직무교육' 참여자를 모집한다.
시는 28일 경비 분야 취업을 희망하는 시민 18명을 대상으로 오는 2월 11일까지 교육생을 접수받는다고 밝혔다.
교육은 2월 25일부터 27일까지 3일간 고양시 장항동 한국수레평생교육원에서 진행되며, 교육비는 전액 무료다.

이번 교육 과정은 현장 투입을 염두에 둔 실무 중심으로 구성됐다.
사고예방, 범죄 예방 및 장비 사용법, 경비업법, 직업윤리 등 이론 교육과 함께 시설 경비, 신변보호, 기계경비 등 현장 실무 교육을 병행해 수료 후 즉시 업무 수행이 가능하도록 했다.
신청은 파주시 일자리센터와 문산·운정 행복센터 내 일자리 상담 창구 방문 또는 구글 서식을 통한 온라인 접수로 가능하다.
접수 후 개별 면담과 선정 기준에 따라 최종 교육 대상자가 결정된다.
다만 최근 3년 이내 파주시 일자리센터 교육 과정 중도 이탈자와 2024~2025년 파주시 일자리센터 취업지원 프로그램 수료자는 신청할 수 없다.
이이구 민생경제과장은 "시니어 맞춤형 경비 직무교육을 통해 실질적인 취업 역량을 갖출 수 있도록 현장 실무 중심으로 교육을 준비했다"며 "경비 분야 취업을 희망하는 어르신들의 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 바란다"고 말했다.
