<브레이크뉴스 가평= 이용하 기자> 가평군이 군민들이 병원이나 시설이 아닌 익숙한 내 집에서 건강한 노후를 보낼 수 있도록 지원하는 ‘가평형 통합돌봄’ 체계 구축에 나섰다.
가평군은 지난 27일 군청 회의실에서 ‘제1차 통합지원회의’를 열고 지역사회 중심의 통합 돌봄 서비스를 제공하기 위한 구체적인 실행 방안을 논의했다고 28일 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 오는 3월 27일 시행을 앞둔 「의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 마련됐다. 군은 노쇠나 장애, 질병 등으로 일상생활에 어려움을 겪는 주민들이 자신이 살던 곳에서 계속 거주할 수 있도록 보건·의료·요양·돌봄 서비스를 통합적으로 지원하는 ‘가평형 모델’을 단계적으로 완성해 나갈 계획이다.
첫 회의에는 가평군 보건소, 치매안심센터, 정신건강복지센터를 비롯해 국민건강보험공단 남양주가평지사 가평운영센터, 6개 읍·면 실무자 등 19명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 실제 통합돌봄이 필요한 사례를 안건으로 상정해 대상자의 건강 상태와 주거 환경 등 생활 여건을 종합적으로 분석하고, 각 기관별로 제공 가능한 서비스를 즉시 연계하는 현장 맞춤형 솔루션을 도출했다.
군 관계자는 “이번 회의를 시작으로 통합지원회의를 정례화하여 기관 간 칸막이를 없애고 촘촘한 돌봄 안전망을 구축하겠다”며 “보건의료와 복지가 유기적으로 결합된 서비스를 통해 군민이 피부로 체감할 수 있는 복지 행정을 실현하겠다”고 말했다.
