추첨 대상자는 관내 거주자 가운데 최근 3년간 정기분 지방세를 납기 내에 성실히 납부한 4,540명으로, 표준지방세정보시스템을 활용한 무작위 전산 추첨을 통해 최종 100명이 선정됐다.
선정된 성실납세자 100명에게는 1인당 5만 원 상당의 고령사랑상품권과 감사의 마음을 담은 서한문이 등기우편으로 개별 발송될 예정이다. 특히 경품이 지역화폐로 지급돼 지역 내 소비 촉진에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
고령군 관계자는 “군민들께서 성실히 납부해 주신 소중한 세금이 헛되이 쓰이지 않도록 군민 복지 증진과 지역 발전을 위해 효율적으로 활용하겠다”고 말했다.
