이번 선정에 따라 복지관은 올해 12월까지 총 48주간 지역 내 결식위기 아동을 대상으로 식사 지원과 맞춤형 사례관리를 실시한다.
지원 대상은 증평 지역 저소득 가정 아동 5명으로, 주 2회 영양을 고려한 식사가 제공된다. 총사업비는 1225만 원이다.
제공되는 식사는 밀키트와 밑반찬 형태로, 성장기 아동에게 필요한 영양소를 충분히 섭취할 수 있도록 저염식·건강식 위주로 구성된다.

오종식 관장은 “이번 사업을 통해 지역 아동들이 보다 안정적으로 건강한 식사를 제공받을 수 있게 돼 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 아동 한 명 한 명의 생활환경과 욕구를 세심히 살피는 맞춤형 사례관리를 통해 건강한 성장을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
