충남 태안군이 봄철 건조한 기후로 인한 산불 위험에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 1월 20일부터 5월 15일까지 116일간을 ‘봄철 산불조심기간’으로 정하고 산림 보호 총력전에 돌입했다.
태안군은 이 기간 산불 예방과 조기 진화를 위한 상시 대응 체계를 가동한다. 본청과 읍·면사무소에 산불방지대책본부를 설치해 유관기관과 긴밀히 협력하며 비상근무 체제를 유지할 계획이다.
주민들은 산불을 목격할 경우 119나 ‘스마트 산림재난’ 앱을 통해 신고하거나, 가장 가까운 산불감시원 또는 마을 이장에게 제보할 수 있다.
현장 대응력 강화를 위해 군은 산림재난대응단 24명과 감시원 48명 등 총 72명을 투입했으며, 드론감시단 2개 조(5명)를 추가로 운영해 하늘과 땅에서 동시에 감시망을 구축한다. 이를 통해 산불 사각지대를 해소하고 조기 발견 및 즉시 진화 체계를 강화할 방침이다.
