파주시가 겨울철 시민들의 건강한 여가 활동을 위해 운영한 '가족 물놀이장'이 큰 인기를 끌고 있다.
지난 25일 운정다목적체육관에서 열린 가족 물놀이장에는 약 200명의 아이들과 부모들이 찾아 따뜻한 실내에서 물놀이를 즐기며 주말을 보냈다.
추운 겨울에도 가족 단위로 함께 즐길 수 있는 체험형 여가공간으로 마련된 이번 행사는 지난해에 이어 올해도 높은 호응을 얻었다.

시는 이러한 반응에 힘입어 오는 2월 15일 파주스타디움 내 금촌다목적실내체육관에서 올해 두 번째 가족 물놀이장을 운영할 계획이다.
가족 물놀이장은 회차당 정원 150명으로 운영되며, 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 1부(10:00~13:00)와 2부(14:00~17:00) 두 차례로 나뉘어 진행된다.
시민들은 네이버플레이스를 통한 사전 예약 또는 당일 현장 결제로 이용할 수 있다.
입장료는 성인 7,000원, 청소년 5,000원, 어린이 4,000원이며, 파주시 외 지역 거주자는 50% 할증 요금이 적용된다.
이창우 체육과장은 "가족 물놀이장은 추운 겨울에도 몸과 마음을 따뜻하게 녹일 수 있는 온 가족 치유 프로그램"이라며 "앞으로도 생활체육시설 내 다양한 가족친화적 프로그램을 운영해 시민들의 건강과 행복 증진에 힘쓰겠다"고 밝혔다.
