청와대가 2일 다주택자 양도소득세 중과 유예 종료 시점 관련해 "사회적 약속이자 정책 일관성 측면에 이후 다른 얘기가 가능할지 모르겠으나 5월 9일 종료되는 건 분명하다"고 거듭 밝혔다.
강유정 대변인은 이날 오후 춘추관 브리핑에서 "대통령이 5월 9일 유예는 종료된다고 끊임없이 강조 중"이라며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 최근 이재명 대통령이 SNS를 통해 지속 다주택자를 겨냥한 강력 정책 수단을 시사하면서 나오는 보유세 강화 관측에 대해선 "부동산에 여러 정책을 쓰고 있다"며 "실효적 성과란 부분에 있어 최선을 다할 것"이라고 했다.
또 "보유세는 최종적으로 이 모든 게 다 불가능하다 여겨졌을 때 생각하는 전제 하"라며 "(이 대통령도) 보유세 관련해선 최후 수단이라 말했다"고 덧붙였다.
한편 강 대변인은 이 자리에서 재정경제부 제2차관 허장 한국수출입은행 ESG 위원장·우주항공청장 오태석 한국과학기술기획평가원 원장·국가물관리위원장 김좌관 부산가톨릭대 석좌교수·아시아문화중심도시조성위원장 김원중 전 광주평화음악제 총감독이 각각 임명됐다고 전했다.
