[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남테크노파크가 운영하는 경남과학문화거점센터가 정부 연차평가에서 2년 연속 최고 수준의 성적으로, ‘과학문화의 지방시대’를 선도하는 롤모델로 급부상했다.
그동안 경남은 대한민국을 대표하는 ‘제조업의 메카’였으나, 일반 도민들이 체감하는 과학문화 인프라는 상대적으로 경직되어 있다는 평가를 받아왔다. 경남TP는 이러한 지역적 특성을 역이용했다. 경남의 주력산업인 항공우주, 원전, 방산 등과 연계한 차별화된 콘텐츠를 개발해 도민들이 자부심을 느낄 수 있는 과학문화 모델을 제시한 것이 이번 ‘우수’ 등급 획득의 요인이 됐다.
