대한적십자사 대구지사, 취약계층 ‘동절기 안심패키지’ 지원

【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대한적십자사 대구지사(회장 배인호)는 대구상공회의소 사회공헌협의회 후원과 사회복지공동모금회(사랑의열매) 지정기탁을 통해 관내 취약계층의 건강한 겨울나기를 지원하는 ‘동절기 안심(安心)패키지’ 지원사업을 전개했다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 겨울철 한파에 취약한 이웃들이 보다 안전하고 따뜻하게 겨울을 날 수 있도록 마련됐으며, 총 2천만 원 상당의 후원금으로 추진됐다. 지원 대상은 관내 취약계층으로 구성된 적십자 희망풍차 결연세대 930가구로, 각 가구에는 넥워머, 비니모자, 장갑 등 방한용품 3종으로 구성된 ‘동절기 안심패키지’가 전달됐다.

대한적십자사 대구지사는 매년 기업 및 단체와 협력해 계절별 맞춤형 지원사업을 이어오고 있으며, 대구상공회의소 사회공헌협의회는 지역사회의 어려움을 함께 나누는 든든한 동반자로서 이번 사업에도 적극 동참했다.

배인호 대한적십자사 대구지사 회장은 “매년 변함없이 나눔에 동참해 주시는 대구상공회의소 사회공헌협의회 덕분에 올해도 지역 이웃들에게 따뜻한 온기를 전할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 대구적십자사는 소외된 이웃들의 안전과 건강을 지키는 인도주의 활동에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 대한적십자사 대구지사는 앞으로도 지역 유관기관 및 1004기업과의 협력을 통해 복지 사각지대를 지속적으로 발굴하고, 재난 및 위기 상황에 놓인 이웃을 돕는 다양한 지원사업을 지속적으로 전개해 나갈 계획이다.
