이번에 소개된 제품은 상주의 ‘샤인머스켓 와인’, 안동의 ‘생강청’, 성주의 ‘참외강정’ 등 경북을 대표하는 특화작목을 활용한 가공품으로, 도내 농산물종합가공센터와 소규모 농산물 가공사업장에서 생산됐다.
특히 고물가 상황 속에서 실속 있는 명절 선물을 찾는 소비자를 위해 가격대는 1만~3만 원대로 구성해 부담은 낮추고, 지역 농산물의 부가가치는 높인 설 선물용 가공품으로 마련됐다.

경상북도농업기술원은 그동안 도내 130여 개 소규모 가공경영체를 육성하고, 시·군 단위 농산물종합가공센터 18곳을 구축해 제품 개발과 상품화 지원을 통해 가공경영체의 지속적인 성장을 뒷받침해 왔다. 그 결과 최근 5년간 창업한 가공경영체의 2025년 평균 매출액은 약 5천100만 원으로, 이전 3년 평균 매출액인 약 4천500만 원 대비 약 14% 증가한 것으로 나타났다.
대표 사례로 안동생강연구소(대표 강미혜)는 안동시농업기술센터의 농산물 가공·상품화·컨설팅 지원을 바탕으로 지난해 10월 미국 애틀랜타에서 열린 ‘한인 축제’와 ‘댈러스 현지 유통매장 특산물 판매전’에서 제품 수출에 성공하며 경북을 대표하는 K-푸드 브랜드로 성장하고 있다.
조영숙 경상북도농업기술원장은 “고물가 시대 설 명절을 맞아 가격 부담은 낮추고 경북의 지역적 특색을 담은 가공품으로 소중한 분들께 감사의 마음을 전하길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 소비 트렌드를 적극 반영해 지역 특화작목 기반의 차별화된 제품 개발과 상품화를 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services has fostered approximately 130 small-scale processing businesses in the province and established 18 city and county-level agricultural product processing centers to support product development and commercialization, supporting their continued growth. As a result, the average sales of processing businesses established over the past five years reached approximately KRW 51 million in 2025, a 14% increase compared to the average sales of approximately KRW 45 million over the previous three years.
