의정부시는 2026년 중장년 직무향상 교육의 첫 단추로 '실무에 힘이 되는 ITQ 한글 과정'을 개설하고 참여자를 모집한다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 문서 작성 프로그램(한글) 사용에 익숙하지 않아 재취업에 어려움을 겪는 4050 세대를 위해 마련됐다. 단순한 자격증 취득을 넘어, 사무·행정 분야에서 즉시 활용 가능한 표 작성, 문서 편집 등 실무 능력을 배양하는 데 중점을 둔다.
모집 대상은 의정부시에 주소를 둔 45세 이상 59세 이하의 미취업자다. 시는 취업 의지와 교육 필요성 등을 심사해 총 15명의 정예 인원을 선발할 예정이다. 특히 교육을 수료한 참여자에게는 교육비 전액을 환급해 경제적 부담을 덜어준다.
참여를 희망하는 시민은 오는 23일까지 의정부시 일자리종합지원센터(노동복지회관 1층)에 전화 예약 후 방문하여 신청하면 된다.
이부근 의정부시 일자리경제과장은 "디지털 격차 해소는 중장년층 재취업의 필수 조건"이라며 "앞으로도 변화하는 고용 시장에서 중장년층이 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있도록 실효성 있는 직무 교육을 지속적으로 발굴하겠다"고 말했다.
