진주시, 노인 일자리사업 발대식 개최

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 3일 시청 시민홀에서 노인의 사회참여 확대와 안정적인 노후 지원을 위한 ‘2026년 노인 일자리 및 사회활동 지원사업’ 발대식을 개최했다.

이날 발대식에는 77개 노인 일자리 사업단에서 250여 명이 참석해 일하는 100세, 활기찬 노후를 주제로 역량교육과 치매 예방 교육을 진행했다.

시는 초고령 사회에 따른 일자리 수요 증가에 대응하기 위해 총사업비 305억원을 투입해 지난해보다 183명 늘어난 7291명의 노인 일자리를 제공한다.

이번 사업은 시 직영 3개 사업단과 위탁 수행기관 74개 사업단이 참여해 약 11개월간 공익·역량·공동체·취업지원 등 4개 유형으로 운영된다.

조규일 진주시장은 “노인 일자리 사업이 삶의 활력과 자긍심을 높이는 핵심 정책이다”며“모든 활동에서 안전을 최우선으로 해줄 것”을 당부했다.
