경기도 양주시, 제2기 청년네트워크 위원 위촉식으로 활동 시작

[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시가 지난 30일 청년정책 의제 발굴과 청년 참여 확대를 위한 주요 소통 창구인 제2기 청년네트워크 위원 위촉식을 개최했다. 

 

이날 위촉식에서는 강수현 양주시장이 청년 네트워크 위원들에게 위촉장을 수여하고, 새로 위촉된 위원들과 자유롭게 소통하는 시간을 가졌다. 이어진 정기회의에서는 분과별 토의 시간을 통해 향후 청년네트워크 운영 방향과 활동 방안에 대해 논의했다. 

 

참석한 위원들은 청년이 체감할 수 있는 정책 필요성에 공감하며 적극적인 참여 의지를 보였다.

 

양주시 청년네트워크는 청년정책의 실효성을 높이고 지역 청년 간 교류 활성화를 위해 구성된 청년 참여형 협력 기구로 올해 3년째를 맞았다.

 

시는 새롭게 구성된 위원들과 함께 적극적인 분과별 활동과 정책 제안・토론, 청년 행사 참여 등을 통해 실효성 있는 청년정책을 만들어 갈 계획이다. 

 

양주시 관계자는 “청년네트워크는 청년 목소리가 시정에 반영되는 중요한 통로”라며 “2026년에도 청년네트워크가 소통과 협력, 청년정책 발굴을 통해 양주시의 미래를 밝히는 원동력이 되어주길 바란다”고 전했다.
