대전시교육청이 그간 축적해 온 혁신교육의 성과를 토대로 수업의 구조와 방식 전반을 재정비하는 ‘대전혁신미래교육 3.0’을 본격 추진한다. 학교 현장에 머물던 개별 실천을 넘어, 모든 학교로 수업 혁신을 확산시키는 데 정책의 초점을 맞췄다.
대전교육청은 지난 10여 년간 ‘창의인재학교’ 운영을 통해 민주적 학교 문화 정착, 전문적 학습공동체 활성화, 배움 중심 교육과정 안착 등 학교 혁신의 토대를 단계적으로 구축해 왔다. 이러한 흐름은 수업의 질을 개선하고 교사의 전문성을 높이는 데 일정한 성과를 거뒀다는 평가를 받아왔다.
‘대전혁신미래교육 3.0’은 이 같은 성과를 기반으로 개념 기반 탐구학습을 중심에 둔 수업 혁신을 체계화하고, 이를 지속 가능한 교육 체제로 연결하는 것이 핵심이다. 지식 전달 위주의 수업에서 벗어나 학생이 사고하고 탐구하는 주체로 성장하도록 돕는 방향을 분명히 한 점이 특징이다.
