【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=경주시 문무대왕면에서 발생한 산불이 강풍 속에 확산되고 있는 가운데 소방청이 국가소방동원령을 잇따라 발령하고 전국 단위 대응에 나섰다.
소방청에 따르면 이번 산불은 지난 7일 오후 9시 40분쯤 경주시 문무대왕면 입천리 일원에서 발생했다. 소방당국은 오후 10시 11분 소방대응 1단계를 발령해 초기 진화에 착수했으나, 강한 바람과 건조한 기상 여건으로 불길이 빠르게 번지면서 진화에 어려움을 겪었다.
이에 따라 소방청은 8일 오전 11시 33분 국가소방동원령을 발령했다. 1차 동원령에 따라 대구·대전·울산·강원·충남 등 5개 시도에서 119특수대응단 장비 5대와 인력 25명이 현장에 투입됐다. 소방청은 상황대책반을 가동하고 현장 상황관리관을 파견해 지휘 체계를 강화했다.
이어 발령된 2차 국가소방동원령으로 부산·대구·울산·경남·창원 등 인근 5개 시도의 산불전문진화차 5대와 소방펌프차 20대, 물탱크차 10대가 추가 배치됐다. 소방당국은 민가와 주요 시설 보호를 중심으로 연소 확대 차단에 주력하고 있다.
현장에는 산림청 초대형 헬기(S-64) 등 가용 헬기가 투입돼 공중 진화가 병행되고 있으며, 장기화 가능성에 대비해 재난회복차도 추가 배치됐다.
김승룡 소방청장 직무대행은 인근 민가와 원전 등 국가기반시설을 최우선 보호 대상으로 지정하고, 선제적 방어선 구축과 대원 안전 확보에 만전을 기할 것을 지시했다.
