청와대가 9일 "오늘 오후 하정우 AI미래기획수석·국가AI전략위원회가 시민사회 대표들과 간담회를 갖고 AI(인공지능) 기본법·행동 계획 등 관련 쟁점을 논의한다"고 밝혔다. 참석 단체는 참여연대·민변·여성계·사회적협동조합 등이다.
청와대에 따르면 이날 간담회에선 AI 기술 확산에 따른 일자리 변화·디지털 격차로 인한 양극화 심화·사회 구조 변화에 의한 불확실성 증가 등 과제들이 논의된다.
AI 정책 추진 과정에서 나오는 시민사회의 다양한 목소리를 중요 정책 자산으로 삼겠다는 취지다.
시민사회 경우 단순 의견 개진을 넘어 정부 고민·한계를 듣고 상호 공감대 형성을 하는 한편 정부 역시 AI 기술 발전·산업 육성이 국민 권리·안전·민주주의 등에 미치는 영향을 제고할 방침이다.
