의정부시는 지난 6일, 취약계층 아동의 정서 함양과 심리 안정을 지원하기 위해 한서중앙병원(대표 지구덕) 및 병원 부설 룰루랄라마음연구소와 ‘사랑해 마음아’ 심리치료 지원사업 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
'사랑해 마음아' 사업은 의정부시가 드림스타트 아동을 대상으로 2013년부터 추진해 온 장수 프로그램으로, 이번 협약을 통해 더욱 전문적이고 체계적인 지원이 가능해질 전망이다.
협약에 따라 세 기관은 정서적 불안이나 행동 문제를 보이는 드림스타트 아동과 그 양육자를 대상으로 ▲종합 심리검사 및 상담 연계 ▲개별 아동 특성에 맞춘 맞춤형 치료 제공 ▲사례 관리를 위한 상호 협력 등을 약속했다. 이를 통해 아동들의 문제행동을 조기에 발견하고 치유하여 건강한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕는다.
시 관계자는 “아이들이 경제적인 이유로 마음의 병을 방치하지 않도록 지역 전문기관과 협력해 촘촘한 지원망을 만들겠다”며 “아동들이 구김살 없이 자신의 꿈을 펼칠 수 있도록 신체·정서·인지 발달을 아우르는 통합적인 복지 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
