■ 송산3동, ㈜녹색환경 등 '쌀·라면' 통 큰 기부
송산3동행정복지센터에는 지난 6일, 지역 기업과 단체의 연합 기부가 이어졌다. ㈜녹색환경, 녹색환경노조 적십자봉사단은 뜻을 모아 백미 800kg과 라면 2,000개를 기탁했다.
이들은 매년 연탄, 이불 등 생필품 지원뿐만 아니라 주거 환경 개선 봉사 등 다방면에서 지역사회를 위한 활동을 펼치고 있다. 안종성 권역국장은 "도움이 절실한 가정에 소중히 전달하겠다"며 감사를 표했다.

지역 상공인들의 재능 기부와 물품 후원도 잇따랐다. 신곡2동에서는 송추가마골 의정부점이 지난 5일 관내 취약계층을 위해 136만 원 상당의 갈비탕 100인분을 기탁하며 든든한 한 끼를 선물했다.
송산1동행정복지센터(동장 전선녀)에는 지난 4일, 맞춤형 기부가 줄을 이었다. '캠퍼스 안경'은 경제적 어려움으로 시력 교정을 미루던 어르신과 청소년에게 안경 13개(65만 원 상당)를 지원했다.
