지역 발전과 관련해 윤 의원은 “대구가 정치적 프레임에 갇히지 않아야 한다"면서 "대구의 지도자들이 대구 발전을 위한 실용적 도구가 되어야 한다”고 목소리를 높였다.
의정보고회에서는 윤 의원의 지난 14년간 주요 성과와 지역 숙원 사업 해결 과정이 소개됐다. 달빛철도 특별법 통과, 대구·경북 통합신공항 추진, 유천IC 양방향 개통, 월배노인종합복지관 건립 등이 대표적이다.
윤 의원은 앞으로도 취수원 문제, 대구·경북 행정통합 등 주요 현안 해결에 힘을 쏟겠다고 밝혔다.
행사 말미 윤 의원은 “추운 날씨에도 강당을 가득 채워준 주민들 덕분에 책임의 무게를 다시 한 번 느낀다”며 “화려한 말보다는 실질적인 성과로 보답하겠다”고 다짐했다.
