브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이찬진 금융감독원장이 빗썸의 비트코인 오지급 사태에 대해 “가상자산거래소 장부 시스템의 구조적 문제를 적나라하게 보여준 사례”라고 평가하며, 제도 개선과 감독 강화 가능성을 시사했다.
이 원장은 9일 오전 올해 업무계획 브리핑 이후 열린 기자간담회에서 “이번 사태는 단순한 실수가 아니라 거래소 장부 시스템 전반의 구조적 취약성을 드러냈다”며 “장부 시스템 문제와 관련한 규제·감독 체계를 마련하고, 개선이 이뤄지지 않을 경우 인허가 리스크에 반영하는 방안을 실무적으로 논의 중”이라고 밝혔다.
