설 명절을 앞두고 대전 지역 사회에 훈훈한 나눔의 소식이 전해졌다.
대전사랑희망연대(회장 육수호)는 9일 오전 11시, 대전 서구 도안동에 위치한 화로인 식당에서 지역 어르신들을 위한 ‘설맞이 사랑의 떡국 나눔 행사’를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 대전사랑희망연대가 주최하고 여러 봉사 단체의 자발적인 참여와 후원이 더해져 더욱 뜻깊게 진행되었다.
대전 한마음 봉사단 단원들은 현장에서 떡국을 직접 나르며 배식 봉사에 힘을 보탰고, 한류예술단은 어르신들에게 전달할 쌀과 휴지 등 생필품을 협찬하며 나눔의 풍성함을 더했다.

이날 행사장에는 서구 관내 어르신 200여 명이 참석해 준비된 떡국을 나누며 정겨운 시간을 보냈다. 최근 지속된 한파로 바깥출입이 어려웠던 어르신들은 모처럼 이웃들과 마주 앉아 명절의 정취를 느꼈다.
‘설맞이 사랑의 떡국 나눔 행사’에 참석한 어르신들은 한파로 움츠러든 몸과 마음을 열고 떡국을 대접받으면서 세상의 훈훈함을 되세기는 시간을 가졌다.
육수호 대전사랑희망연대 회장은 “설을 앞두고 작은 정성이지만 어르신들이 따뜻한 명절을 보내시길 바라는 마음에서 행사를 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 지역 주민들과 소통하며 희망을 나눌 수 있는 다양한 활동을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daejeon Love Hope Solidarity (Chairman Yuk Su-ho) held a "Tteokguk Sharing Event for the Lunar New Year" for local senior citizens at 11:00 AM on the 9th at Hwaroin Restaurant in Doan-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon.
This event was made even more meaningful by the voluntary participation and support of various volunteer organizations, hosted by Daejeon Love Hope Solidarity.
Members of the Daejeon Hanmaeum Volunteer Group personally served tteokguk, while the Hallyu Arts Troupe donated rice, toilet paper, and other necessities to the seniors, further enriching the sharing experience.
