통영시, 통합돌봄 기반 구축 ‘통합지원협의체출범

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 통영시는 제1기 통합지원협의체 위촉식을 갖고 본격적으로 지역사회의 통합 돌봄 지원체계 구축에 나섰다고 9일 밝혔다.

이번에 출범한 통합지원협의체는 총 15명(당연직 5명, 위촉직 10명)으로 구성됐으며, 지역사회 중심의 통합돌봄을 효과적으로 추진하기 위해 보건·복지·의료·주거 등 다양한 분야의 전문가와 관계기관이 참여했다. 

지역 돌봄 계획의 수립 및 평가, 통합지원 시책 추진, 통합지원 관련기관 간 연계협력에 관한 사항 등 통합 돌봄에 대한 심의·자문 역할을 담당하게 된다.

시는 올해 3월부터 시행되는 의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원법에 관한 법률에 대응해 노인과 장애인이 살던 곳에서 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 의료·요양·일상·주거 서비스를 통합 연계 제공하는 통합돌봄사업을 본격 추진할 계획이다.

특히 재가서비스 이용 확대, 퇴원환자 지역 연계, 방문의료·가사지원·식사지원·주거환경개선 등 대상자의 생활 기능을 지원하는 맞춤형 서비스를 단계적으로 확대해 나갈 예정이다. 

천영기 통영시장은 “통영시 통합돌봄서비스 구축을 위한 필수적인 조직이 공식 출범한 만큼, 지역 주민이 체감할 수 있는 돌봄정책을 차질 없이 추진하겠다”며 “협의체와 긴밀히 협력해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 돌봄서비스를 맞춤형으로 지원하기 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The newly launched Integrated Support Council consists of 15 members (5 ex officio and 10 appointed). Experts from various fields, including health, welfare, medical care, and housing, as well as related organizations, participated to effectively promote community-centered integrated care.

The council will be responsible for deliberating and advising on integrated care, including the development and evaluation of local care plans, the implementation of integrated support policies, and the coordination and cooperation among integrated support-related organizations.
