[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시립박물관과 국립경주박물관은 공동 특별기획전 ‘삽량, 위대한 양산’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 ‘양산시 승격 30주년’과 ‘양산 방문의 해’를 기념해 마련된 특별전으로 양산의 고대 지명인 삽량에서 오늘날 양산으로 이어지는 역사적 흐름 속에서 위상과 지역의 정체성을 재조명하고 미래 가치를 모색하고자 기획됐다.
특히 이번 전시는 지역 공립박물관과 국립경주박물관이 공동으로 기획했으며 국보로 지정된 금관총 금관을 비롯한 중요 문화유산이 최초로 양산에 전시된다는 점에서 큰 주목을 받을 것으로 예상된다.
이는 국가 대표급 문화유산을 지역에서 직접 관람할 수 있는 이례적인 사례로 지역민의 문화 향유 기회를 확대하고 지역 문화 활성화에도 큰 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
전시는 3월 6일부터 5월 3일까지 51일간 양산시립박물관 2층 기획전시실에서 개최되며 개막식은 3월 5일 열릴 예정이다.
국립경주박물관과 양산시립박물관이 공동 주최하는 이번 특별전에는 총 124건 473점의 유물이 전시된다.
이번 전시는 신라의 정치·문화적 확장 과정 속에서 삽량이 차지했던 위상과 역할을 조명하고 중앙과 지방의 관계를 입체적으로 소개하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
이를 통해 삽량이 신라 체제 속에서 중요한 정치·문화적 거점이었음을 다양한 고고·역사 자료로 보여준다.
전시에서는 당시 서라벌과 삽량의 관계를 조망하는 자료와 함께, 양산 지역 최고 지배층의 고분인 북정리 고분군 7·9호분 출토 유물도 선보여 당시 지배층의 성격을 살펴볼 수 있도록 구성했다.
특히 리움미술관의 금동관과 국립경주박물관의 금관총 출토 금관을 비교 전시해, 신라 중앙과 삽량 지역 지배층 문화의 공통점과 차이, 위계와 교류 양상을 한눈에 살펴볼 수 있도록 구성했다.
이는 신라 문화가 삽량 지역에 미친 영향과 지역 지배층의 위상을 상징적으로 보여주는 주요 전시 요소가 될 전망이다.
양산시립박물관은 전시 기간 동안 관람객의 이해를 돕고 참여를 확대하기 위해 전시 연계 체험 프로그램과 학술·문화 행사를 협업으로 추진할 계획이다.
특히 금관총 금관을 모티브로 한 전시 연계 체험 ‘경주×삽량 : 금관으로 말해요’를 비롯해, 전시 연계 특별강연도 진행할 예정이다.
아울러 양산시 승격 30주년을 기념하며 SNS 등 다양한 시민 참여형 프로그램을 확대 운영해 시 승격의 의미를 시민과 함께 공유할 예정이다.
