2027 충청권 세계대학경기대회(유니버시아드)를 알릴 대학생 홍보단 ‘2027 유니크루’가 새롭게 출범했다.
2027충청유니버시아드대회 조직위원회는 9일 청주 오스코(OSCO)에서 ‘유니크루 제2기 해단식 및 제3기 발대식’을 열고 새로운 홍보 주역 30명을 위촉했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 제2기 활동을 마무리하며 우수 서포터즈를 시상하고, 새 기수의 출발을 응원하는 의미를 담았다.
‘유니크루(UniCrew)’는 대학(University)을 뜻하는 ‘Uni’와 공통의 목표를 가진 팀을 의미하는 ‘Crew’를 결합한 이름으로, 2027 충청 유니버시아드 홍보를 이끌 대학생 서포터즈를 뜻한다. 전국에서 69명이 지원한 가운데 최종 30명이 선발됐으며, 이 중에는 유학생 5명도 포함됐다.
발대식에서는 대표자 선서와 함께 그룹 퍼실리테이션 프로그램이 진행돼, 참여자들이 글로벌 홍보 전략과 대학생 중심의 창의적 이벤트 기획안을 직접 논의했다. 조직위원회는 이날 도출된 아이디어를 향후 홍보 콘텐츠 제작과 각종 오프라인 행사에 적극 반영할 계획이다.
이창섭 조직위 부위원장은 “유니크루는 청년들이 주체적으로 참여해 대회의 가치를 널리 알리는 핵심 홍보대사 역할을 하게 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 대학생의 시각과 아이디어가 반영된 참여형 홍보 활동을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 2027 충청 유니버시아드대회는 오는 2027년 8월 1일부터 12일까지 대전·세종·충북·충남 4개 시·도에서 열린다. 약 150개국에서 1만5천여 명의 선수와 임원이 참가해 18개 종목에서 세계 대학생들의 기량을 겨루게 된다.
