가평군 지역사회보장협의체는 지난 9일 가평군청 제2청사에서 서태원 가평군수(공공위원장)와 대표협의체 위원 등 17명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 제1차 대표협의체 정기회의’를 개최했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이날 회의는 제5기(2023~2026) 지역사회보장계획의 마지막 연차인 2026년의 성공적인 마무리를 위해 마련됐다. 참석자들은 지난해 추진했던 사업 성과를 면밀히 분석하고, 현장의 목소리를 반영해 올해 사업의 완성도를 높이는 방안을 집중 논의했다.
현재 가평군은 ‘The 특별한 복지로 힐링과 행복이 가득한 가평’이라는 비전 아래 9대 추진 전략과 45개 세부 사업을 역점적으로 추진 중이다. 협의체는 민관 협력을 바탕으로 계획 수립부터 실행, 평가에 이르는 전 과정을 주도하며 복지 사각지대 해소에 앞장서고 있다.
협의체는 오는 4월과 5월 중 차기 회의를 열고, 올해 시행 계획에 대한 모니터링과 세부 사항 조정을 이어갈 방침이다.
서태원 가평군수는 “지난해 협의체 위원들의 헌신적인 노력 덕분에 가평군민의 복지 체감도가 크게 향상됐다”며 “올해도 민관이 원팀이 되어 소외되는 이웃 없는 촘촘한 복지 안전망을 만들어 달라”고 당부했다.
