민원서비스 종합평가는 전국 308개 행정기관을 대상으로 민원서비스 수준 향상을 위해 매년 실시되는 평가로, ▲민원행정 전략 및 체계 ▲민원제도 운영 ▲국민신문고 민원 처리 ▲고충민원 처리 ▲민원 만족도 등 5개 항목, 21개 세부 지표를 기준으로 종합 점수를 산정해 가~마 등급으로 평가한다.
수성구는 민원행정 제도 개선과 민원 처리 상황 점검, 민원 담당자 보호 등 다양한 분야에서 고른 성과를 내며 높은 평가를 받았다. 특히 국민신문고 민원 처리 분야에서 처리 신속도와 적정성, 민원행정 개선 노력도에서 매우 우수한 평가를 받아 최우수 등급을 획득했으며, 법정민원 신속 처리 항목에서도 만점에 가까운 점수를 기록했다.
이 같은 성과를 바탕으로 수성구는 지난해 대구시 생활밀접 민원제도 개선 우수사례 발굴에서 우수와 장려에 각각 선정됐으며, 대구시 구·군 민원행정 종합평가에서도 1위를 차지해 최우수 기관으로 선정되는 등 민원행정 분야에서 꾸준한 성과를 이어가고 있다.
김대권 수성구청장은 “이번 우수 등급 획득은 구민을 위한 민원행정 개선 노력이 결실을 맺은 결과”라며 “앞으로도 구민이 만족하고 체감할 수 있는 민원서비스 제공을 통해 더욱 신뢰받는 수성구를 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
