[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군 창선면의 대표적인 향토 축제인 ‘제8회 창선고사리축제’가 오는 4월 25일과 26일 양일간 동대만생태공원에서 개최된다.

창선고사리축제 추진위원회는 지난 9일 개최된 정기총회에서 축제 일정과 장소를 최종 확정하고 본격적인 축제 준비 체제에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

이번 축제는 ‘국민쉼터 창선에서 만나는 봄’이라는 주제 아래, 창선면민의 화합을 도모하고 전국 각지의 관광객들에게 남해의 맛과 멋을 알리는 장이 될 전망이다.

전국 고사리 생산량의 약 30%를 차지하는 남해군 창선면은 명실상부한 고사리의 본고장이다.

이번 축제는 ‘국민쉼터, 창선에서 만나는 봄’이라는 슬로건 아래, 창선 고사리의 우수성을 알리고 방문객들에게 건강한 먹거리와 힐링의 시간을 제공하기 위해 기획됐다.

동대만생태공원은 넓은 잔디광장과 습지체험길, 어린이 놀이시설을 갖추고 있어 가족 단위 방문객들에게 최적의 장소로 올해도 이곳에서 축제를 개최한다.
