파주시 광탄도서관은 책 선정에 어려움을 느끼는 이용자들을 위해 도서와 관련 소품을 결합한 전시 북앤띵스 Book&Things 주제 도서 전시를 2월부터 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 도서와 연계된 다양한 소품을 함께 선보여 이용자의 오감을 자극하고 체험형 독서 흥미를 높이기 위해 기획된 광탄도서관의 신규 전시 프로젝트다.
북앤띵스 전시는 2026년 한 해 동안 분기별로 서로 다른 주제를 선정해 연 4회 운영될 예정이며 첫 번째 전시는 2월 1일부터 3월 31일까지 진행된다.
1분기 주제는 일상의 기록 기록의 일상으로 기록과 일기를 중심으로 삶 속에 녹아 있는 다양한 씀의 형태를 조명하고 기록이 지니는 의미를 발견할 수 있는 도서들로 구성됐다.
특히 이번 전시에서는 관련 도서와 함께 일기장, 기록지 메모지, 필기구 등 기록과 관련된 소품을 함께 배치해 기록의 방법과 가치를 시각적으로 제안하고 관람자가 자연스럽게 기록 활동에 관심을 갖도록 유도할 계획이며 또한 전시를 관람한 이용자가 자신의 생각을 남길 수 있는 실천형 기록 주제를 제공해 자발적인 참여를 이끌고 그 결과물을 모아 기록보관소 아카이브로 구축할 방침이다.
광탄도서관 관계자는 소품과 도서가 어우러진 전시를 통해 이용자들에게 새로운 독서 문화 경험을 제공하고자 한다며 이번 전시가 이용자들이 다양한 분야의 도서를 탐색하고 독서의 즐거움을 발견하는 계기가 되길 바란다고 전했다.
