<브레이크뉴스 의정부 = 이용하 기자> 의정부시의 미래를 이끌어갈 청년들이 한자리에 모여 본격적인 시정 참여의 닻을 올렸다.
의정부시는 지난 7일 의정부시 청년공감터에서 ‘제4기 의정부시 청년협의체 제1회 임시총회’를 열고 공식 활동에 돌입했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이날 총회에는 지난달 위촉된 30여 명의 청년 위원들이 참석해 제4기 협의체를 이끌어갈 임원진을 선출하고, 분과 구성을 완료하는 등 체계적인 운영 기반을 다졌다.
투표 결과, 참석 위원 과반수의 지지를 얻은 ▲나인채 위원이 위원장에, ▲남병훈 위원이 부위원장에 각각 선출됐다. 이들은 앞으로 2년의 임기 동안 의정부 청년을 대표해 정책 제안과 소통 창구 역할을 수행하게 된다.
나인채 신임 위원장은 “청년들이 피부로 느낄 수 있는 실효성 있는 정책을 발굴하고, 위원들의 목소리를 경청하며 누구나 공감할 수 있는 열린 협의체를 만들겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
협의체는 위원들의 전문성과 관심사를 반영해 ▲정책제안 ▲문화소통 ▲참여홍보 ▲행사기획 등 4개 분과로 조직을 재편했다. 또한, 오는 3월 초 ‘상반기 워크숍’을 열어 위원 간 결속력을 다지고 구체적인 활동 로드맵을 논의할 계획이다.
