【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 설 연휴 기간 동안 근대골목 일원에서 다양한 전통·문화 체험 프로그램을 진행한다.
중구청에 따르면, 2월 15일부터 18일까지 계산예가와 이상화·서상돈 고택, 우현 하늘마당, 옛 중앙파출소 앞 삼거리 광장 등 근대골목 곳곳에서 ‘설맞이 근대골목 이벤트’가 열린다. 이번 행사는 귀성객과 관광객, 시민들이 명절 분위기를 체험할 수 있도록 기획됐다.
행사 기간 계산예가와 고택 일원에서는 윷놀이, 투호, 고리던지기 등 전통 민속놀이와 한복 및 근대복 체험이 마련된다. 또 룰렛, 양궁, 박 터트리기 등 참여형 골목 이벤트도 진행돼 가족 단위 방문객들의 관심을 모을 전망이다.
올해는 엿장수 퍼포먼스와 전통 간식 시식 프로그램이 새롭게 추가돼 명절 분위기를 한껏 더할 예정이다. 우현 하늘마당에서는 전통 문양을 활용한 키링 만들기 체험이, 옛 중앙파출소 앞 삼거리 광장에서는 탁본과 인력거 체험이 오후 시간대에 운영된다. 또 약령시 관광안내소 앞에는 근대골목을 배경으로 한 ‘청라버스’ 포토존이 설치된다.
특히, 15일 오후 5시 30분부터 밤 9시 30분까지 ‘근대골목 밤마실’도 마련돼 야간에 색다른 골목 풍경을 즐길 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 설 연휴 동안 계산예가와 청라언덕관광센터, 약령시, 동성로 관광특구, 김광석길, 메트로센터 등 관광안내소 6곳도 정상 운영된다.
류규하 중구청장은 “근대골목에서 전통 체험을 하며 가족과 따뜻한 명절 추억을 만들길 바란다”며 “연휴 기간 대구를 찾는 관광객들에게도 의미 있는 시간이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
