고양특례시는 10일 치유농업 활성화와 지역사회 회복에 공헌한 기관 및 개인을 선정해 '고양시 치유농업 활성화 유공표창'을 수여했다고 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 민관 협력을 통해 고양시 치유농업의 외연을 확장하고, 자원순환 기반의 도시농업 모델을 정착시키는 데 기여한 공로를 기리기 위해 마련됐다.

기관표창을 받은 포스코이앤씨는 2025년 고양특례시와 기술지원 업무협약을 체결하고, 커피박 기반의 자원순환형 토양개량제 '리코소일' 총 163톤을 기부하며 고양시 치유·도시농업의 도약을 이끌었다.
기부된 리코소일은 학교 치유텃밭, 아파트 텃밭, 요양원 등 다양한 현장에 활용됐다.
이를 통해 600회 이상의 프로그램이 운영되어 약 3,480여 명의 시민이 참여하는 성과를 거뒀다.
특히 상토 지원에 따른 예산 절감 효과로 학교 치유농업 사업은 2023년 5개교에서 2025년 11개교로 대폭 확대되는 등 양적·질적 성장을 동시에 견인했다.
리코소일을 활용한 치유텃밭은 학생들의 정서 회복은 물론, 특수교육 대상자를 위한 '꿈자람 치유텃밭' 운영을 통해 장애·비장애 학생이 함께하는 통합형 프로그램으로 발전했다.
또한 어르신 대상 힐링 텃밭과 아파트 주민 참여형 모델로 확장되며 탄소중립 실천과 환경 감수성 향상에도 기여했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
개인 유공 표창은 자원순환형 상토 개발에 기여한 김가현 씨와 민관 협력 체계 구축 및 현장 연계를 지원한 이종학 씨(이상 포스코이앤씨)가 수상했다.
