세종시 고운동, '고운 손길'로 가꾸는 우리 마을

세종시 고운동이 10일 설 명절을 앞두고 고운동 직능단체와 함께 상가밀집지역과 단독주택지 일원에서 ‘설맞이 우리 마을 가꾸기’ 환경정화 활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

고운동 이번 활동은 설 연휴 기간 고운동을 찾는 귀성객과 주민들에게 쾌적하고 깨끗한 생활환경을 제공하기 위해 마련된 것으로, 직능단체 회원들을 비롯한 지역 주민과 동 직원 등 100여 명이 참여했다.

참여자들은 상가밀집지역, 크린넷 주변, 단독주택 부지 등 쓰레기 투기가 잦은 지역을 중심으로 방치된 생활 쓰레기를 수거하며 마을 곳곳을 정비했다.

또, 상인과 주민을 대상으로 설 명절에 많이 발생하는 쓰레기를 올바르게 분리배출하는 방법을 안내했다. 

박미애 고운동장은 “많은 시민들의 손길이 모여 깨끗한 도시환경을 만들어가는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 더욱 쾌적한 우리 마을을 만들어 가기 위해 주민과 함께 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
